The EcoPark and its partners provide a number of programs for adult learners focused on developing special skills and specialty interest areas. Past programs have included mushroom forays, wildflower walks, outdoor concerts, poetry & improv and more! Please see our calendar of events for more details.
Teacher Professional Development
The professional staff at the EcoPark and partner organizations offer teacher professional development in best practices in environmental and sustainability education Professional development programs have included, “KEEP,” “Project WET,” “Project WILD” and more.
Special Interest Programs
These innovative and exciting programs for adult learners support the EcoPark’s sustainability education programs. Suggested donation is $10 per person. All programs are held at the EcoPark. Check events for topics and dates.
EcoMind series presents compelling topics from new angles.
EcoCraft series covers topics from invasive species to creating furniture and bird feeders from recycled materials. Fees may be required for materials.
EcoFilm series offers films related to nature and sustainability education.
EcoStage series presents outdoor performances surrounded by nature’s beauty.
EcoWalk series will have adults moving and enjoying different aspects of the natural areas around the EcoPark.
